Things that are fun but didn't seem to fit anywhere else.
Back to the main page| Time: | 30 - 60 minutes |
| Equipment: | Cardboard boxes Clear tape (Sellotape) String Marker Pens |
| The challenge: | Design a suit of armour for each member of your team, including cardboard sword and shield. Knights from each team join in mortal combat against each other (!) |
| Hints: | You could use some of the team as 'horses' and have a jousting competition as well. |
| Time: | 5 - 15 minutes |
| Equipment: | Plastic bin liners Wallpaper paste Feathers (talk to a local chicken or turkey farmer, near Christmas or Thanksgiving) |
| The idea: | Dress the victims in the bin liners. Apply paste to the bin liner Apply feathers to the paste |
| Hints: | This is very messy! Do it at the start of the evening and have a large bin ready to sweep the debris into. Stand back if you're alergic to feathers. Keep your camera ready. |
| Time: | 5 - 30 minutes |
| Equipment: | Water Empty washing up liquid containers, buckets, water bombs, cheap plastic food bags (the cheaper the better), etc. |
| The idea: | Have a water fight! |
| Hints: | Best done outside on a warm evening. |
| Time: | 60 - 90 minutes |
| Equipment: | 1.5kg bag of flour per team |
| The idea: | Send each team out to lay a 'litter trail' of flour, dropping a handful of flour every 10 - 15 paces. Give them 30 minutes to do this before returning to base. Swap teams: each team follows another team's trail. |
| Hints: | Send a leader with each team. If you swap leaders when the teams follow the opposition trails, make sure the leaders are briefed so they know where the trail ends. |
